Synopsis

A comic following the adventures of a team of superheroes who are not very super... or heroic... and don't really get around to fighting evil very often.

Characters

She founded Team Useless one day when she discovered the magic pencil and was told by an apparition of the deceased Freddie Mercury to use it for good.  With the aforementioned pencil, she can make anything she draws come to life… but doubled with impulsiveness and a constant loss of what to draw, this power is quite useless.
Though Andrew trains daily to master the art of Heat Vision, he has still only been able to achieve Warm Vision.  He joined Team Useless in hopes that one day, with their help, he will be able to triumph when faced with the wrath of his worst enemy... Clammy Hands Man.
Lauren’s older sister.  Her consent was not given (or even asked for) when Lauren gave up their house as Headquarters for Team Useless.  Although she is not actually a member of the Team, she is probably the only skilled fighter out of all of them.
He has the power to turn into any inanimate object at will, though he uses it more for mischief than for good.  He is prone to arbitrary fits of rage.
It is unknown how Cole got his power, but it could be because of his love of all animals... or his love of exploiting them, anyways.  Cole is the only Team member who bothers wearing a costume.
He is Team Useless’s resident psychic – albeit a poor excuse for one.  For the most part, his visions occur from five minutes into the past, but every once in a while, he manages to accidentally read someone’s mind or see into the future.  That's really the only reason they keep him around.  And because he balances the checkbooks.
Amy is the holder of the confusion ray, which only enhances how confusing she is without it.

About Team Useless

If you haven't figured it out yet, Team Useless is based on real people - namely, myself and my friends.  The idea came about my Senior year when I was in Art class with Jordan and Cole... I had always been talking about random comic ideas I had revolving around all of us, but I never got around to following through with them because I couldn't think of a way to link them all together into an on-going series.  The solution was so simple!  Superpowers! It's the perfect plot device.  The concept of having completely useless powers evolved naturally, as we're all pretty useless people in real life.

Every Team Useless page is drawn and inked by hand, scanned, and then colored using Photoshop CS2.  The ideas for the comics come mainly from me, but I have a lot of outside help from Logan, Cole, and everyone else.  Plus, they call me up every once in a while to bitch at me when I don't update, so I think they deserve some recognition for that.
